Holiday beautification
Niagara City Alderman Lynn Burke spearheaded a project recently — calling it “Main Street Makeover.” The intention is to provide seasonal decorations to welcome visitors and provide beautification along Niagara’s main street. They are hoping that they can get continued support from businesses and residents to make this an ongoing project. Burke and a group of area residents placed fall decorations along Niagara’s main corridor as part of the project. They have received a positive reaction to the placement of the decor. Local businesses and supporters donated the funds, but additional financial support or supplies will be welcomed and used to provide seasonal decor.
