Walk for Freedom
A Walk for Freedom was held in Iron Mountain on Saturday to raise awareness and funds in the fight against human trafficking. “Iron Mountain Police Department assisted us and they were a tremendous help,” said Connie Tresedder, walk host. “Walks just like this took place on the same day in 500 cities in 50 different countries. A21 is a global anti-human trafficking organization that has been in existence for the last 11 years. This organization won the Mother Theresa Memorial Award for Social Justice last year.”
