Children’s Museum to host appreciation event Sunday
Pancake lunch, fun day for kids at West Hughitt Street center

IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Imagination Factory Children's Museum is holding an Appreciation Event/ Family Fun Day as a thank you for Imagination Factory donors and a fun day for kids on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Great Start, Michigan State University Extension, Iron Mountain-Kingsford Kiwanis Club and the Imagination Factory Museum.
Music by PJ The DJ will be provided. The Bellin Clinic heart model will be on display and the Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District will offer exploration of the planetarium.
Complimentary pancakes will be served from 1 to 2 p.m. with a special program planned from 2 to 3 p.m. A reading circle, dessert decorating with Angie DuBose, books for kids, balloon animals and other fun, interactive children activities are also planned.
Those who donated to the museum and were awarded incentive gifts can pick them up from 1 to 3 p.m. Annual Imagination Factory memberships and day passes will be available for purchase.
The Imagination Factory Children's Museum/ Our Place Community Center is at 217 West Hughitt St. in Iron Mountain.
The next event will be a Christmas party open house Dec. 8 from 4 to 5 p.m.
