One IM crash reported on snowy Thursday

IRON MOUNTAIN — Two people were checked for injuries after a two-vehicle collision Thursday at the intersection of Evergreen Drive and Hemlock Street in Iron Mountain.

Firefighters responded to the crash at 3:22 p.m., according to the Iron Mountain Fire Department.

The IMFD created a safe zone around the vehicles and assisted two people into an ambulance. It is unknown if the injured were transported to the hospital or treated on site, the department said.

Firefighters cleared debris before returning to the station at 4:09 p.m.

The IMFD was assisted by the Iron Mountain Police Department and Integrity Care EMS.

The Iron Mountain area got about 6 inches of snow Thursday.
