One injured in crash on M-69 in Sagola Township

SAGOLA TOWNSHIP — A 58-year-old Felch Township man was injured Tuesday when his vehicle was struck by a propane delivery truck on M-69 in Sagola Township.
The crash was reported at 11:39 a.m. after the driver turned to enter a driveway and into the path of the truck driven by a 52-year-old Iron Mountain man, according to a news release from the Michigan State Police Iron Mountain Post.
The Felch man had to be extricated from his vehicle after the crash. He was transported to the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for treatment, the release stated.
Both drivers wore seat belts and alcohol use is not suspected. The Felch man was cited for failure to yield.
MSP troopers and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office were assisted by the Sagola Township Fire Department, Star EMS, Integrity Care EMS and LR Vincent Towing.
