CRYSTAL FALLS -- A 42-year-old Crystal Falls man died Tuesday night after a snowmobile crash on Trail 113 south of Superior Avenue in Crystal Falls.
Iron County Sheriff's Office deputies were called at 9:17 p.m. after the man failed to negotiate a turn and struck a tree, throwing him from the snowmobile, a news release from the sheriff's office stated.
The man was pronounced dead at the site.
The incident remains under investigation. No other details are available at this time.
Deputies were assisted by Michigan State Police accident investigators, Iron County Search and Rescue, Aspirus EMS, Nash Funeral Home and Iron County Central Dispatch.
