Tip-Up Town fishing contest winners listed

CHANNING — Winners from Saturday’s Tip Up Town fishing tournament held on Sawyer Lake have been announced.

Adult winners were:

— Northern pike, first place, Kyle Holsworth, Hartford, Wis., 34 3/4 inches; second place, Mike Wells, Republic, 22 1/2 inches; third place, Hunter Fortner, Iron Mountain, 22 inches.

— Perch, first place, Bradley Schinderle, Iron Mountain, 8 1/2 inches.

–Crappie, first place, Steve Peterson, Racine, Wis., 13 inches; second place, Wally Rankin, Iron River, 13 inches; third place, Jim Montle, Gaastra, 12 7/8 inches.

— Bluegill, first place, Brian Piasini, Laona, Wis., 9 inches; second and third place, Anthony Wender, Iron Mountain,  both fish 8 3/4 inches.

Youth category winners were:

— Walleye, first place, Kaden Myers, Kingsford, 23 inches.

— Northern pike, first place, Jonah Caruso, Iron Mountain, 23 1/4 inches; second place, Camden Mortl, Iron Mountain, 22 1/2 inches; third place, Michael Weber, Kingsford, 22 1/4 inches; fourth place, Hunter Skoglund, Kingsford, 22 inches; fifth place, Sawyer Pugh, Kingsford, size 21 1/2 inches.

— Perch, first place, Brody Freeman, Green Bay, Wis., 5 inches.
