Twenty-one seniors from Kingsford High School have been nominated for The Detroit News Outstanding High School Graduate Scholarship. This is a program that identifies, recognizes, and honors the top seniors from all of Michigan’s public and non-public high schools in 11 different categories. Nominated students are invited to apply for the Detroit News and Catch Outstanding High School Scholarship Program. Selected students will be honored as part of the 35th annual Detroit News Outstanding High School Graduate Program. The top two students in each category will be featured in The Detroit News this spring and will be honored at an awards dinner. Four students in each category will be selected as runners-up and their names will be published. All students who have been nominated and apply will receive a certificate.
