MENOMINEE — A 32-year-old Menominee man died in a single-vehicle crash early Friday in Menominee Township, Menominee County Sheriff Kenny Marks said.

The victim was the sole occupant of the westbound vehicle, which left the roadway on West 38th Avenue near River Road and struck a tree. The accident was reported at 4:36 a.m., Marks said.

Assisting the sheriff’s office were Menominee Police Department, Menominee Ingallston Volunteer Fire Department, Aurora Bay Area paramedics, Menominee County Sheriff’s accident investigators, Menominee County Medical Examiner’s Office, Menominee County Road Commission and the Victims Services Unit.
