Delta County has reported its second death attributed to COVID-19, health officials said.

No other information was available on the individual from Public Health, Delta and Menominee Counties.

The Upper Peninsula as of Tuesday afternoon had 68 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 11 deaths, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

MDHHS data shows Menominee, Luce and Chippewa each have a single COVID-19 case; Houghton had two cases; Schoolcraft and Dickinson counties each have three cases, with two deaths in Dickinson County; Mackinac and Gogebic counties have four cases, with a death in Gogebic; Delta County has 12 cases and two deaths; and Marquette County has six deaths among its 35 cases.

The MDHHS also separately lists prison inmates as positive in Luce and Chippewa counties.

U.P. counties with no COVID-19 cases so far are Iron, Baraga, Keweenaw, Alger and Ontonagon.

The MDHHS reported 967 new COVID-19 cases in the state Tuesday afternoon, with a total of 32,967 to date. The state had 232 new deaths for a total of 2,700 to date.

Dickinson County Healthcare System lists two county residents testing positive at its facilities, with two deaths, along with five positives from other counties; those counties were not identified. DCHS has tested 142 people for COVID-19, with seven positive, 124 negative and 11 results still pending.

In Wisconsin, the state Department of Health Services’ COVID-19 data site by county showed six positive cases and a death in Marinette County and two positives in Florence County. Wisconsin’s Iron County has two cases with a death. Vilas County has four cases while Forest County has yet to have a positive case with 37 tests done so far.

Statewide, Wisconsin has recorded 4,620 cases of COVID-19 and 242 deaths as of Tuesday afternoon.
