DC District Judge issues activity report
IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County District Judge Julie A. LaCost has issued her activity report for the month of April.
New criminal cases for the month included eight felonies, nine misdemeanors and one OWIL/OUI misdemeanor.
New civil cases for the month included three general civil cases, two small claims cases and two landlord/tenant disputes.
New traffic cases included 38 civil infractions, 21 misdemeanors and five non-traffic civil infractions.
Criminal dispositions for the month included one guilty plea to a felony reduced to a misdemeanor, four dismissed, five felony preliminary exams waived over to circuit court, nine misdemeanors and four OWI misdemeanors.
Civil Dispositions included 49 general civil, 17 small claims and two landlord/tenant.
Traffic dispositions included 59 civil infractions and four misdemeanors. There was one non-traffic civil infraction.
The District Court handled two drug-sobriety court referrals.
Funds turned over to the county treasurer totaled $23,663.91. Funds turned over to the court trust totaled $1,716.
