Quinnesec man pleads not guilty to drug, weapons charges
IRON MOUNTAIN — A Quinnesec man accused of drug and weapon charges pleaded not guilty Monday in Dickinson County Circuit Court.
Shane Siegler, 26, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison; possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle, a high court misdemeanor punishable by up to two years in prison; and operating with a license suspended, revoked or denied, a 93-day misdemeanor.
According to the criminal complaint, deputies with the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office stopped Siegler’s vehicle for loud exhaust in Breitung Township on April 5.
Siegler reportedly had methamphetamine, a smoking device and a .22 caliber rifle with him at the time. His operator’s license was suspended, the complaint stated.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. July 6. Bond is set at $5,000 cash, surety or 10%.
