Fatal motorcycle crash Sunday

FLORENCE, Wis. — A Kingsford man died Sunday after a motorcycle crash that afternoon near Keyes Lake in Florence County.

Florence County deputies and Florence Fire and Rescue responded at 12:01 p.m. after Ronald Sparapani Jr. reportedly failed to negotiate a curve on Highway 70/101, Florence County Sheriff Dan Miller said.

Sparapani, 63, was transported to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain but did not survive.
