Milan receives scholarships

FLORENCE, Wis. — Florence High School has announced multiple scholarship awards granted to graduating senior Kendralee Milan.

Milan will be the recipient of the M & M Area Community Foundation Scholarship: Florence Prescription Services for $500, Donna L. Manko-Lusardi Scholarship in the amount of $500, Nsight Teleservices for $1,200, and one of three FHS awards for the Tim Touchett Legacy Scholarship for $1,500.

Milan has demonstrated success both in the classroom and across many other disciplines. She is a member of the FHS chapter of the National Honor Society, and has been awarded throughout her high school years for individual class achievement and performance.

Her talents also include athletics, earning varsity letters in volleyball, basketball, and softball, and First- and Second-team All-Conference awards and Athlete Scholar Awards. In addition, she is an active member and leader of her class, the student body, Student Council, and TORPEDOS.

Milan plans to attend NWTC Green Bay campus in the fall for their medical assistant program and continue on to a nursing degree. She is the daughter of Valarie Milan of Florence.
