NORWAY — The Norway City Band will kick off its 139th consecutive season with its Fourth of July concert at the band shell next to City Hall.

The band, under direction of Ed McBroom, will feature “Stars and Stripes Forever,” by John Philip Sousa; “Armed Forces on Parade,” an arrangement of service anthems; “God Bless the USA,” by Lee Greenwood; and many other exciting marches, polkas, patriotic medleys and other favorites.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and will end at 8:30 p.m. The city fireworks will commence shortly thereafter.
