Firewood auction planned for Iron River shelter
IRON RIVER — Northwoods Animal Shelter is holding a fundraiser auction for two facecords of donated firewood.
The opening bid is $200 and free delivery is offered within 25 miles of the Iron River shelter.
The roof at the shelter is leaking and in need of extensive repairs.
Bids may be placed in the entrance, where there is a box with forms to fill out. Bidding ends Aug. 28.
