Norway School District sets food program prices

NORWAY — The Norway-Vulcan Area School District, a participant in the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition program, has set breakfast and lunch prices for the school year.

Breakfast is served daily starting at 7:30 a.m. Price is $1 for all students, with the price of a reduced breakfast set at 30 cents and free to those who qualify.

Lunch prices are: Kindergarten through fifth grade is $3 per day; sixth through 12th is $3.25 per day. Reduced-price lunch will be 40 cents per day and free to those who qualify.

A free/reduced lunch application is available on the website at nvknights.org. Applications also will be sent home with students during the first week of school. Payment can be made via check or cash with checks being made out to Norway-Vulcan Area Schools.
