BBCS vote
On election day Nov. 3, the second grade at Bishop Baraga Catholic School in Iron Mountain had an opportunity to vote in class on a proposal: should they spend the last 10 minutes before lunch playing with Play-Doh. They voted anonymously and then the students each helped to read the ballots and tally the votes on the board. Unsurprisingly, the proposal passed. They also talked about how much more important the issues are that face voters in national and state elections. Mateo Raiche shows off his ballot. Skylas Coursen
and Mary Oller display their “I Voted” stickers.
