Radio club funds
The Dickinson Area Community Foundation, along with affiliate Crystal Falls Area Community Foundation, awarded a $250 mini-grant to the Iron Range Amateur Radio Club. The funds will be used to purchase materials to construct a working amateur radio display. Additionally the antique WIKB radio station studio equipment will be moved, refurbished and installed as well. Al Anderson, president of the Crystal Falls Area Community Foundation, presents the check to Paul Penkivech, treasurer of Iron Range Amateur Radio Club, with club board members Sandie Nies and Dan Waters looking on.
