LANSING –In his second term in the Michigan House, state Rep. Greg Markkanen, R-Hancock, was appointed by Speaker Jason Wentworth to serve on four House committees.

Markkanen will serve as vice chair for the House Energy Committee and the House Natural Resources and Outdoor Recreation Committee. He was also named to the House Education and House Workforce, Trades and Talent Committee.
