Online vaccine sign-up in Florence County

FLORENCE, Wis. — Each week the Florence County Health Department will post and open a link on its website and Facebook page allowing individuals who are currently eligible for COVID-19 vaccine to schedule their own appointment online.

The link for Thursday is Florence County Public Health Department: Vaccination Clinic (signupgenius.com) . Check the website and Facebook for the weekly openings. Currently eligible populations for the COVID-19 vaccine in Wisconsin include health care personnel, fire, sheriff, EMS, corrections, child and adult protective workers and individuals over 65 years of age.

For those individuals who do not have computer or smart phone access and are over the age of 65 or have a disability, please call the Aging and Disability Resource Center at 715-528-4890 for assistance in scheduling your appointment.

Appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The number of appointments available is based on the quantity of vaccine supplied from the state. Individuals must be Florence County residents to receive the vaccine at this time. The sign-up may be filled quickly each week.

Public health will provide more information about vaccine availability for eligible groups as it becomes available. People are encouraged to stay up to date by visiting Florence County Health Facebook page: @FlorenceCountyHealthDept, or on their webpage at www.florencewipublichealth.com.
