COVID vaccine clinics planned in Florence

The Florence County Health Department is planning three additional COVID-19 vaccine clinics at Pat’s Foods in Florence, Wis.

FLORENCE, Wis. — Public health officials strongly encourage all eligible individuals to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Florence County Health Department will continue to offer J & J vaccine at Pat’s Foods in Florence, via a drive-thru, with three more clinics to allow those individuals who want a one-dose vaccine.

These drive-thru clinics are planned for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 21; 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, May 28; and a final clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5, during the communitywide rummage sale. The J & J clinics are for individuals 18 and older and there is no pre-registration necessary.

All clinics are free and insurance is not charged. Individuals 16 and above are encouraged to sign up for the Pfizer vaccine at one of the department’s weekly clinics; see Facebook or the website for registration.
