MAGGIE CARPENTER

KINGSFORD — Maggie Carpenter will be the new Woodland Elementary Child Care director.

She has an associate’s degree in early childhood education, a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies and is working toward a master’s degree in social work.

While completing her bachelor’s degree, she studied abroad in South Africa with children with disabilities at three different schools.

For the past 10 years, she worked with children at daycare centers in Marquette; DePere, Wis.; and Kingsford.
