DICSA’s Waara completes Michigan leadership program
KINGSFORD — Dana Waara recently completed the Michigan Community Action Leadership Development Institute program.
The course is an innovative learning experience designed to impact the role of community action by strengthening leadership depth and acumen in Michigan’s Community Action Agencies.
Waara joined a cohort of 36 other community action agency professionals from around the state of Michigan. The program spanned 10 months and consisted of seven full days of learning with the facilitator, Rebecca Kraus, a professional certified coach.
Graduation ceremonies were held virtually this past week. Waara is the executive assistant and human resources manager at the Dickinson-Iron Community Services Agency.
