IRON MOUNTAIN –Lume Cannabis Co.has launched adult-use marijuana sales in Iron Mountain, its fifth store in the Upper Peninsula.

Lume’s current lineup of adult-use stores in the U.P. includes Negaunee, Sault Ste. Marie, Escanaba, Houghton and now Iron Mountain, at 119 S. Stephenson Ave. Lume will also open adult-use stores in Christmas and Manistique this year, said Doug Hellyar, president and COO.

Lume plans to open 22 adult-use stores across the state in 2021, bringing its total number of Michigan adult-use stores to 40 by the end of the year. The ambitious effort is part of Lume’s goal of having 100 adult-use stores open throughout Michigan by 2024, Hellyar said.

The Iron Mountain store opened July 16.
