Children’s museum opens in IM

The Imagination Factory Children’s Museum in Iron Mountain had its grand opening this weekend. After two years of work, volunteers and others have converted space in Iron Mountain's former Central Middle School at 217 W. Hughitt St. into 25 interactive exhibits in rooms with themes on health, industry, the environment and more. Here, 3-year-old Ford Gendreau and sister Amelia, 10, play Saturday on the virtual mat in the health room. (Brian Christensen/Daily News photo)
