Renee Yake’s math classes at Iron Mountain High School are learning with the latest technology this school year. Thanks to funding acquired through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund, her Algebra 2, Precalculus, and AP Calculus classes are using Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus CE Python color-display graphing calculators, which were purchased this summer. These next-generation calculators are able to give students real-world experience that translates to many industries with learning how to code with one of the fastest-growing programming languages in the world, Python.
