Pasahows donate to Dickinson Area Community Foundation

DAVID AND CLAIR PASAHOW

IRON MOUNTAIN — Long known for the small, but mighty mini-grant program, the Dickinson Area Community Foundation is thrilled to announce the addition of the David and Clair Pasahow Community Impact Fund to their efforts.

Over $76,000 has been given to local non-profit organizations since 1995 in increments up to $250. With the generous support of the Pasahows, local non-profit organizations may now apply for community impact grants of up to $500.

The new grant program is funded through donations to DACF and will be matched with a multi-year commitment by the Pasahow family. The Pasahows’ vision is to positively change the community through impact granting by meeting the needs of local non-profit organizations for smaller programming or project support needs.

This joint effort will allow the Foundation to increase the impact in the local communities to improve the quality of life in the areas they serve.

“The Pasahow family has deep roots in our community, over 125 years, and recognized that DACF was the best resource to partner with to achieve our vision,” said David Pasahow.

Please contact the Community Foundation at 906- 774-3131 or www.dickinsonareacf.org to learn more about or apply for the new Community Impact Grants.
