IRON MOUNTAIN – Construction work on East Breitung Avenue, also known as Breitung Cut-Off Road, is scheduled to begin Monday, the Dickinson County Road Commission said.

The project is expected to last two to three weeks.

Traffic will be maintained to one lane at most times with traffic control operations. Delays in traffic flow should be expected.

Heavy trucks should plan to use a designated alternate route, the commission said.

As announced last year, the project runs from 400 feet east of Hydraulic Falls Road to 1,600 feet west of U.S. 141.
