COVID-19 booster clinics offered in Florence County

Florence, Wis. — Florence County Health Department will be holding COVID-19 booster clinics starting Tuesday, Aug. 9.

At this time FCHD will be offering the Pfizer booster vaccine to individuals 12 and older eligible for a booster dose and to individuals 50 and older eligible for their second booster dose. Anyone ages 12 through 17 does need a parent/guardian’s permission. Appointments are required at this time.

For those individuals who do not have a computer or smart phone access and are over the age of 60 or have a disability, please call the Aging and Disability Resource Center at 715-528-4890 for assistance in scheduling your appointment.

The health department is located on the second floor, 501 Lake Ave. in the Florence County Courthouse, open Monday through Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m., open during lunch time and by appointment after hours.
