Dickinson conducts survey

2 min read

IRON MOUNTAIN -- Residents and workers in Dickinson County are asked to participate in the relaunch of the 2022 Master Plan Survey to assist the Dickinson County Board and its partner, The Dickinson Area Economic Development Alliance, to plan for future growth and development.

The survey provides residents with the opportunity to express their needs, and to offer opinions and suggestions for long-term planning, said Brian Bousley, county controller.

A link to the survey is posted on the county website: www.dickinsoncountymi.gov, under "Newest Alerts-Planning Survey."

The survey will be available until Sept. 15. Paper copies will be made available to the public as well. The county clerk's office, planning commission members, the county libraries and senior centers will have a limited number of copies to distribute.

Once the surveys are completed, the results will be available to the public. The county board encourages qualified individuals to participate because the report will assist Dickinson County in developing its vision, goals and objectives for the next five years.

If paper copies of the surveys are needed, or more information is required, please contact the controller's office in the courthouse. Further inquires can be addressed to Bousley at 906-774-2573 or bbousley@dickinsoncountymi.gov.
