NORWAY — Due to the recent and serious outbreak of canine parvovirus in the upper part of the lower peninsula and concerns of the participants, the Almost Home Animal Shelter Board and Dog Show committee has decided to cancel the Fun Dog Show at the Dickinson County Fair in Norway. The show was scheduled for Sunday.

“The paper work requirements would impede participants at this time of short notice, and we would be forced to not let them show their dogs,” said Shelter manager Diane Luczak. “We are sorry to have to do this, but our beloved dogs’ safety is our main concern.”
