NIAGARA, Wis. — The Niagara Lions Club will again join others around the state by sponsoring a “Stuff the Bus” event today.

The bus will be parked from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today in the Northwoods IGA parking lot. This is an annual event where people donate school supplies that will be used by children in need.

Among items traditionally in demand are spiral notebooks, loose-leaf notebook paper, No. 2 pencils, colored pencils, ballpoint pens, markers of all kinds, including Sharpies, anti-bacterial wipes, Clorox wipes, 3-ring binders, compasses, crayons, facial tissue, glue sticks, paper towels, pink erasers, rulers, scissors, Elmer’s white school glue and glue sticks, small staplers and staples, White-Out, and Ziploc bags in various sizes.

All supplies collected here will go to Niagara students only. The complete list of supplies needed by grade level may be found on the School District of Niagara website at www.niagara.k12.wi.us.
