Though rivals on the court, the Iron Mountain and Kingsford girls tennis teams teamed up Wednesday for a “Playing for Pink” match at Kingsford High School, helping raise $432 with support from spectators and a few people who sent donations to the coaches for the fight against breast cancer. “It’s a good community service event and how special to be able to do it with Iron Mountain benefiting loved ones that may have gone through something, we know have gone through something or who have passed away from cancer,” Kingsford coach Tracy Rutter said.
