Escanaba city manager offered downstate post
IONIA, Mich. — Patrick Jordan, Escanaba’s city manager since 2017, has been offered a county administrator position in the western Lower Peninsula.
The Ionia County Board approved an agreement with Jordan on Tuesday. The contract is contingent on a background check by the Michigan Municipal League and review by the county’s attorney. The one-year contract would begin Nov. 21 and can be extended to up to three years. He will be paid a salary of $115,000, increasing to $117,500 after six months.
