Norway dam tours clarified
NORWAY — Tours of Norway’s hydraulic dam will again be part of the annual Leif Erikson Fall Festival this weekend.
All interested in the tour are asked to take the bus provided, as parking is limited. Buses will leave from Main Street and Railroad Avenue, near the Knight Owl, with the first tour leaving at 2:30 p.m. and last at 5 p.m.
The tours will not, however, provide free brats or views from a “cherry picker,” as stated in Thursday’s Daily News.
The city will announce winners of Public Power Week prizes at 1:30 p.m. at the bandshell. The contest is only open to Norway electric customers who signed up to participate.
The festival starts at 10 a.m. Saturday on Main Street.
