Aerial wonderland at Lake Antoine

Hundreds of people turned out Saturday in near-perfect weather conditions for the second-annual Kites Over Awesome Lake Antoine, or KOALA, event, which featured more than 20 professional kite fliers sending up giant, elaborate show kites into the skies over the frozen lake. Thanks to the support of community members and businesses, Lake Antoine Park Partners was able to host the family-oriented outdoor activity at no cost to those who attended.
