DUDLEY BIRDER
DE PERE, Wis. — The St. Norbert College chorale and alumni will honor Dudley Birder’s memory and musical legacy with choral/orchestral favorites he conducted over the decades.
From Carnegie Hall to the Weidner Center, the Walter Theatre to St. Norbert Abbey, for nearly 60 years Birder loved to teach, rehearse and conduct the grandest of choral and orchestral music, conducting requiem after requiem, masterwork after masterwork throughout his life.
The event will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Weidner Center, 2420 Nicolet Dr., Green Bay. For information about parking follow this link: snc.edu/go/weidner-parking-directions.

In “A Requiem For Dudley,” the chorale honors Dudley after his recent passing, presenting Birder’s greatest hits, his favorites and pieces he would often remark he’d love to hear at his own funeral and conduct in heaven.
This celebration of the musical life and legacy of Birder includes his favorite composers: Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Handel, Faure, Durufle, Rutter, Forrest, Dubois and of course, Dudley Birder.
Joined by alumni of the chorale and college, the Dudley Birder Chorale and full symphony orchestra pay tribute to Birder in song and in great memories.
