MARQUETTE -- The Gogebic County Sheriff's Office has located the body of 37-year-old Rudy Patrick Massi of Wakefield.
Police say that they received a tip about 6:30 p.m. Monday about Massi, who was reported missing March 31.
Deputies reported to the scene of the tip, where they recovered Massi's body after new evidence was found due to warmer weather conditions, when snowmelt revealed old tracks left in the snow by Massi. The body was recovered at 7:57 p.m.
Police say that the incident is still under investigation and that an autopsy will be performed by the Gogebic County forensic pathologist.
Officers were assisted at the site by the Ironwood Public Safety Department and Gogebic County Search & Rescue.
