IRON MOUNTAIN — Lois Ellis, executive director of the Dickinson Area Economic Development Alliance, presented Iron Mountain High School senior Chloe Maycroft with a CTE Graduate Recognition Program prize consisting of gift cards and swag at Iron Mountain High School on Friday.

Maycroft was nominated by Dawn Smith, IMHS scholarship administrator, for Maycroft’s aspirations and goals as a radiographer and was randomly selected in a drawing. It was stated the Alliance “hopes this program shines a light on outstanding students who are opting for careers that are in high demand and both financially and personally rewarding.”

Maycroft plans to attend Northern Michigan University in the fall to attend a two-year radiography program and then hopes to return to Iron Mountain to work for either Marshfield Clinic or the VA Hospital in hopes that they will provide further training.

Starting at $3.50/week.
