The Iron Area Health Foundation recently contributed $365 to support the Wykon Family Fun Run 5K, which was held on June 2. The 5K run promotes healthy living opportunities for residents of Iron County and strives to “CAN” hunger in the community. All Tot-Lot through sixth grade students who participated in the 5K run received a free T-shirt to wear in celebration of the run’s 10th anniversary. Participants in the run were encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item that was donated to the local St. Vincent DePaul store.
