Biologist to give presentation Thursday on local wildlife

FLORENCE, Wis. -- Tom Carlson, Florence County wildlife biologist, will be delivering a presentation on local wildlife, featuring deer, bear, beaver, muskrat, otters, and waterfowl at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Natural Resource Center.

With a wildlife management degree from the University of Minnesota, Crookston, Carlson has extensive experience working for the Missouri DNR and the Wisconsin DNR since 2008, focusing on land and game management.

The Spread Eagle Chain of Lakes is sponsoring the program, which is open to the public.

Families are encouraged to attend as it promises to be an enjoyable and educational experience.
