IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain Schools Board of Education selected Eli Ward as a new member of the school board.

Ward and one other candidate were interviewed to fill a board vacancy at the monthly regular meeting held on June 22.

Ward was appointed with a 3-2 board vote.

Ward is appointed through Dec. 31, 2024.

Ward is the president and general manager of Northern RV Center, Inc., husband to wife, Niki, and father to Mountaineers, Abby and Layla.

He is a graduate of Kingsford High School, and earned his bachelor’s degree in business management at Northern Michigan University.
