Two men arrested after drugs found in Aurora search

FLORENCE, Wis. — Two men have been arrested after a search early Sunday in the town of Aurora turned up drugs and firearms, according to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.

Florence County deputies did the warranted search at about 2 a.m. Sunday at 886 Lakeview Drive, seizing 41 grams of methamphetamine, 1.7 grams of fentanyl, 1.1 grams of crack/cocaine and two firearms, according to a news release by Sheriff Teresa Chrisman posted on the office’s Facebook page.

Taken into custody were Cody Freeman, 24, and Ronnee Pietrantonio, 76, the news release stated.

Deputies were assisted by members of the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and Integrity CARE EMS paramedics.

“These types of arrests are the results of K9 work and collaboration with all of our surrounding law enforcement agencies and drug task forces,” the news release stated.
