IRON MOUNTAIN -- People who have had items taken from local grave sites will have a chance to recover the property through the Dickinson County Sheriff's Office.
A female suspect was arrested Friday and a large amount of stolen property recovered, Undersheriff Aaron Rochon said in a news release Monday.
Hours are set from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday for those who have had items missing or stolen to come to the sheriff's office to recover them.
"To help with the process, we ask that those that come to recover property come prepared with a detailed list of missing property also, including their full name, address, phone number and the location of where the property was taken from," Rochon said. "A photo ID will also be required."
Those unable to make the above dates and times can contact the sheriff's office to make other arrangements.
The sheriff's office continues to process recovered items. Photos may be added to its Facebook page once that's completed, Rochon said.
The suspect was arrested in Iron Mountain after information led officers to an address in Norway, where the property was found, he said. Kayla Jean Conley, 34, appeared in Dickinson County District Court on Monday on a misdemeanor larceny charge as well as bond violations.
