IRON RIVER -- A truck crash Monday night on U.S. 2 near Sunset Lake Road in Iron County damaged several mailboxes but resulted in no injuries, Sheriff Ryan Boehmke said.
The driver, a 25-year-old man from Norway, was eastbound in a Ryder box truck about 6:47 p.m. when the vehicle left the road, hitting several mailboxes and a driveway embankment before coming back on the highway and overturning, ending up on its side at the intersection of Sunset Lake Road, Boehmke stated in a news release.
The driver, who was uninjured, was cited for driving without care and caution, the sheriff said.
