IRON MOUNTAIN — The area chapter of Heroes Honor has announced the winners of its Show Us Your Smile contest to receive free dental work.

In July, Heroes Honor put out a call for anyone who has served either in the U.S. military, law enforcement, fire department or EMS who needed dental work to enter the contest.

The dental work is being provided by Dr. Paul Fornetti and Dr. Jason Hall, who will cover all of the costs associated with the services.

Chris McLain of Pembine, Wis., a former member of the Marine Corps who now teaches in the Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine School District, was selected as the first-place winner. McLain will receive extensive dental work, including a bridge, from Fornetti.

Judy Peterson of Channing, an EMS worker at Integrity EMS Inc., was selected as runner-up. Hall will provide her with Invisalign braces.
