MARQUETTE -- The Marquette Regional History Center will present "Legends and Lore" at 7 p.m. Eastern time Thursday, Jan. 25, at the Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette.
Jack Deo and Jim Koski will share "Legends and Lore," stories of amazing individuals and historical quirks from throughout Marquette County's 170-plus years of history.
From community-defining moments to the people who built the Upper Peninsula to moments that may elicit a "I remember that," the show will bring to light some forgotten aspects of local history with pictures, facts and a good deal of laughs.
The event is a fundraiser and sponsored in part by TV 6 and Fox UP. Tickets are on sale now. General seating tickets are $15, VIP balcony $20. Advance tickets are available at this reduced price, which will increase by $5 at the door. Call 906-226-3571 for more information.
