Presentation on Marquette County’s ‘Legends and Lore’

MARQUETTE -- The Marquette Regional History Center will present "Legends and Lore" at 7 p.m. Eastern time Thursday at the Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette.
Jack Deo and Jim Koski will share stories of amazing individuals and historical quirks from throughout Marquette County's 170-plus year history. From community-defining moments to the people who built the U.P. to moments that may elicit an "I remember that," the show will bring to light some forgotten aspects of local history with pictures, facts and a good deal of laughs.
The event is a fundraiser and sponsored in part by TV6 and Fox UP. Tickets are on sale now. General seating tickets are $15 and VIP balcony tickets $20. Buy tickets in advance for this reduced price, as they will increase by $5 at the door. Call 906-226-3571 for more information.
