MARINETTE, Wis. — Authorities have found human remains after a trailer fire Tuesday in the town of Silver Cliff in Marinette County.

Marinette County Dispatch received a report at 11:16 a.m. about a trailer burning on Camp 10 Road, according to a news release from Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller.

The town of Silver Cliff Fire Department responded, along with deputies from the Marinette County Sheriff’s Department. Investigation of the site turned up human remains.

No further information was released while the Marinette County medical examiner works to identify the remains. Foul play is not suspected at this time, Miller stated in the news release.

The fire remains under investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and the Marinette County medical examiner.
